Ottawa-area provincial candidate
calls Brock 'most admired leader'
Ottawa — Mike Patton, a conservative running for a seat in the
upcoming provincial election in Ontario in the riding of Ottawa West-
Nepean, called General Brock the world leader, past or present, that
he most admired.
"On the eve of the War of 1812, the generals told him there was no
way this country could be defended. Then, he said, we'll go on the
attack. He saw the country that could be rather than the swamp and
trees it was," Patton told the Ottawa Sun.
