apparently true
A Baldwin's bizarre
connection to 1812
DETROIT — Daniel Baldwin (right) was
arrested in Detroit on a warrant from
California. But that's not the strange part,
nor is it the part that makes it a
somewhat odd connection to the War of
1812.
Baldwin is in Detroit working on a low-
budget horror film, Little Red Devil. He's
reportedly playing the title role — which
according to some bloggers would
suggest the 6'2" actor is playing Detroit's
own Nain Rouge, a "mythical red dwarf
who haunts the city and appears directly
before terrible events, such as the 1805
fire or the surrender of the city during the
War of 1812.
There's no word on if General Brock ran
into Nain Rouge in the summer of 1812
while taking the fort...
